My well-established client is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their market-leading company based in the Rochester area. This will initially be on a 15 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The role will be fully office based and experience working in the construction industry is essential.
Duties will include:
- Completing month-end duties
- Accruals & Prepayments
- Monthly VAT returns
- Year-end preparation, including Audit
- Bank reconciliations
- Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger duties
- CIS returns
- Payroll including processing Pensions, Wages and Journals and Yearly P11D Submission
The successful candidate will:
- Have worked in a similar role previously
- Understand Accruals & Prepayments
- Have previous experience with P11D’s
- Possess advanced Excel skills
- Have experience using Sage
