Quality Technologist Maidstone 12-Month Contract Monday – Friday My client is looking for a Quality Technologist to join their team on a 12-month contract, with a possibility of a few additional months. If you have a background in a quality role within the food industry and are looking for a new role with a slight step up in duties, then this could be a great opportunity for you! Duties include: Conduct daily quality activities: sampling, testing, reporting, and releasing finished products and raw materials Perform site controls including allergen and environmental monitoring, pest control, and record-keeping Support investigations into analytical failures (OOS results) and non-conformances Coordinate urgent orders, pre-shipment samples, and concessions with customer support Carry out GMP and hygiene audits and assist in validation activities (allergen, homogeneity, cleaning, shelf-life) Verify batch documents and labels prior to manufacture and release finished products Issue Certificates of Analysis (C of A) and liaise with internal/external laboratories Assist with training new starters and supporting production in resolving quality-related issues The successful candidate will have/be: Previous experience within a quality position, working for a food manufacturer or related industry. Understanding of quality standards.
