Job Description

Quality Inspector – Automotive Components

?? Tonbridge (own transport required)?? £25,000 – £33,000 DOE + Benefits?? Hybrid working after training (3 office / 2 home)

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with strong knowledge of automotive components?Do you take pride in precision, process, and ensuring products meet the very highest standards?

We’re recruiting urgently for a well-established employer on the outskirts of Tonbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected, growing business that invests in training, progression and long-term career development.

What you’ll be doing

  • Inspecting and validating automotive components and sub-assemblies
  • Performing a range of tests using specialist measurement tools
  • Reading, interpreting and applying technical drawings, specifications and industry standards
  • Liaising with suppliers, engineers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality concerns
  • Accurately recording, analysing and reporting inspection data on a daily basis
  • Supporting internal and external audits as required

What we’re looking for

  • Essential: Hands-on quality inspection experience within the automotive sector
  • Solid understanding of automotive parts, components and manufacturing processes
  • Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Detail-focused, process-driven mindset with accurate reporting skills
  • Confident communicator, able to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams
