This role would suit someone with some experience using hand tools within a manufacturing or workshop environment , looking for a stable opportunity for the long term with a view to development, or someone who has worked within a similar role extensively who wants a good local business to work for. A day in the life of a Pre-fabrication Assistant here will mean: Safely and efficiently operating the saw; cutting metal and preparation of metal for painting Working accurately , and with minimal waste, from technical drawings Using a range of hand and power tools Carrying out accurate measurements Working to targets in a fast paced workshop environment.
