We are recruiting for a Purchaser/Supply Chain Administrator to join our client, a recognised manufacturing business based in Mid Kent. The ideal candidate will have experience in a purchasing or supply chain role, possess strong Excel skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent analytical and organisational skills. This position has been created due to continued business growth, making it a busy and exciting time to join the team.
Duties for this role include but are not limited to:
- Support the purchasing function by processing and maintaining purchase orders with both UK and international suppliers.
- Track stock levels and sales performance, identifying potential supply risks or excess stock and highlighting issues as needed.
- Support replenishment planning by analysing forecasts, reports, and historical data to assist purchasing decisions.
- Take ownership of maintaining accurate data, including supplier records, order status, pricing, and stock information.
- Act as a key point of contact for suppliers and internal teams, supporting day-to-day queries and helping maintain positive commercial relationships.
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Merchandising and wider team as required.
To be considered for this role, you will have/be:
- Experience in a purchasing, supply chain, or commercial administrative role.
- Excellent Excel skills with strong analytical ability and confidence working with data.
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of stock, pricing, and supply chain priorities.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
