Warehouse Operative & Forklift Driver
Location: Medway
Hours: 6am-6pm β 4on, 4off (Days only)
Salary: Β£25,750
Do you have a counterbalance or a reach truck licence? Do you have previous warehouse and forklift experience? I am looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative who has forklift licences for either counterbalance or reach truck (having both licences would be highly advantageous) to join my clientβs team! A great opportunity to join a well-established, market-leading organisation in a fast-paced role!
Duties include:
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Order picking using IT systems
- Loading and unloading lorries
- Preparing products for production
- Moving pallets around the warehouse
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy
- Any other duties required
The successful candidate will have / be:
- Previous experience as Warehouse Operative
- Either a counterbalance or reach truck licence (in-house licences accepted) β Having both licences would be highly advantageous but only one is needed.
- Experience using computerised stock control systems
- Strong attention to detail skills to ensure items are picked correctly
- Organised and able to meet KPI targets
- Physically fit in order to work long days and stand for long periods of time on occasions
