We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established scaffolding company based in Rochester who are looking to add an experienced Class 2 Driver / Scaffolder to their growing team. This is a permanent opportunity offering consistent work, competitive daily rates, and long-term stability for the right candidate.
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver / Scaffolder, you will be responsible for both the safe transportation of scaffolding materials and assisting with scaffolding operations on site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong work ethic and previous experience within the scaffolding industry.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Operating a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to deliver and collect scaffolding materials
- Loading and unloading scaffolding equipment safely and efficiently
- Assisting with the erection and dismantling of scaffolding on site
- Ensuring all materials are secured correctly during transport
- Working in line with health and safety regulations at all times
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Supporting site teams as required to ensure jobs are completed on time
- Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with clients and site personnel
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Previous scaffolding experience (essential)
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
