Looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a well-established manufacturer where reliability is genuinely valued and recognised? We're working exclusively with a successful and growing manufacturing business that is seeking a practical, dependable individual to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing a good job and wants to become part of a close-knit team where people are trusted, supported and encouraged to develop.
This is not a highly technical fabrication role and there is no welding involved. Instead, you'll be assembling bespoke aluminium products, working from drawings and instructions, using a variety of hand tools and workshop equipment to produce quality finished products. The role would suit somebody with experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse operations, construction products or any environment where practical skills and attention to detail are important.
What you'll be doing:
- Assembling aluminium products and components to specification
- Following drawings, work instructions and production schedules
- Using hand tools and workshop machinery safely and effectively
- Checking finished products meet quality standards
- Supporting the wider production team to meet customer deadlines
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Identifying and reporting any issues that could impact quality or production
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience within manufacturing, assembly, production or a similar hands-on environment
- Confidence using hand tools, power tools or workshop equipment
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Someone who values teamwork and contributes positively to a small, supportive environment
- A consistent work history demonstrating commitment and reliability
- Own transport due to the location
Why apply?
- Secure, permanent position with a well-established business
- Supportive management team with a practical, down-to-earth approach
- Overtime available to increase earnings
- Training and development opportunities
- Potential future upskilling, including forklift training and exposure to more specialist products
- Friendly team culture where everybody plays an important role in the success of the business
If you're someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in turning up, getting stuck in and being part of a reliable team, we'd love to hear from you.
