We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established charitable organisation for a permanent Transport Manager based in Farnham. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day transport operations, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with relevant legislation. You will play a key role in supporting the charity's objectives by ensuring transport services operate smoothly and reliably.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily transport and fleet operations
- Ensuring compliance with transport legislation, health and safety, and safeguarding requirements
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with Operator Licence requirements
- Leading, motivating, and developing drivers and transport staff
- Overseeing vehicle maintenance, inspections, and scheduling
- Managing budgets, costs, and operational efficiencies
- Acting as the main point of contact for transport-related matters
About you:
- Proven experience in a Transport Manager or similar role
- A valid CPC qualification (essential)
