Temporary Logistics Administrator Mid Kent £27.500 8am-5pm Monday-Thursday 8am – 4pm Friday My client is looking to recruit an experienced Logistics Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, leading company, working in a busy and fast paced environment. We can only consider drivers with their own transport for this role due to location. Duties include: Working within the transport office to assist with the co-ordination of a team that delivers throughout the UK Assisting with ensuring the drivers are on the road as quickly and efficiently as possible and issues are resolved promptly Communicating with customers and drivers to resolve issues with deliveries/delivery timescales to ensure customer satisfaction is met Liaising with internal departments to proactively resolve challenges Updating customer portals Undertaking any other ad hoc project or task within the company as required Experience required: Experience working within a similar role, ideally working with drivers would be preferred Key customer service skills Be proactive and display initiative Possess effective communication skills Demonstrate a good working knowledge of MS Office applications Have achieved a minimum of Grade C in GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English If you want to work for a company where talent and hard work is rewarded, apply now for immediate consideration.
