We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in Windows 11 deployments and infrastructure engineering. This person will work across both BAU and project streams, helping to maintain and evolve the clients infrastructure, and enabling the migration or rollout of Windows 11 environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a complex, high-availability environment and has experience with modern infrastructure tooling and security practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure incidents and service requests under SLA
- Monitoring metrics, logs, and alerts to proactively detect and remediate issues
- Lead or support Windows 11 deployment projects (imaging, automation, pilot, rollouts)
- Support and evolve infrastructure design, ensuring best practices are followed
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, storage, and application teams on cross-domain initiatives
- Implement or maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFSR, WDS, etc.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and infrastructure provisioning (Infrastructure as Code)
- Work with virtualisation (VMware / vSphere, etc.)
- Configure / manage SAN / storage, Fibre Channel, zoning, LUN provisioning
- Participate in vulnerability assessments, patches, security hardening, and incident response
Required Skills & Experience
- NPPV3 clearance, either current or active within the last 12 months (non-negotiable)
- Strong track record with Windows 11 deployment (imaging, upgrade, Autopilot, Intune, SCCM, etc.)
- Solid experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- Experience in a 3rd line / senior infrastructure role
- Familiarity with both BAU support and project-based change
- Virtualisation experience (VMware, vSphere)
- Working knowledge of SAN / storage technologies, Fibre Channel, zoning, etc.
