Our well-established client working within the scientific industry are looking to onboard a reliable and experienced Import Export Coordinator to join their already flourishing team! Responsibilities:
- Arrange and monitor the shipment of goods (by air, sea, or land).
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and review shipping documents.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and customs inspections.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments (e.g., sales, warehouse, finance).
- Resolve issues related to shipping delays, customs holds, or damaged goods.
- Provide updates to stakeholders on shipment status.
- Negotiate freight rates and service contracts.
- Monitor and control shipping costs.
- Process freight invoices and ensure accuracy.
