Overview:
My client, a highly reputable Legal 500 accredited regional firm, are seeking a pragmatic and career driven Housing Litigation Solicitor to join a collaborative team in southeast London. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a team that has over 30 years experience in delivering legal services to social housing providers and private landlords. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 1-5 years PQE.
Duties include:
- Dealing with a busy caseload of housing litigation matters to include defending disrepair claims, possession, civil injunctions, defending EPA claims, ASB and fraud
- Dealing with landlord and tenant matters, AST and/or leasehold matters to include forfeiture claims is desirable
- Managing any support services for which you are responsible, including supervision of secretarial and junior staff
- Participation in marketing and networking activities whether on a firm-wide, or departmental basis
The successful candidate will have/be:
- 1-5 years PQE
- Experience delivering excellent customer care in a legal environment
- Qualified and eligible to practice as a Solicitor in England
Package:
- £50,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience)
