What you'll be doing

As a key member of the Customer Service team, you'll be the friendly and professional point of contact for customers, ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting positive impression. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering first-class customer service via telephone and email.
  • Responding to customer enquiries and providing product information.
  • Processing customer orders accurately and ensuring all information is captured correctly.
  • Raising and sending customer price agreements, following up to ensure they're returned and processed promptly.
  • Working closely with Sales, Production, Purchasing and Despatch to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Resolving customer queries and complaints quickly and professionally.
  • Producing reports using Microsoft Excel and analysing data where required.
  • Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks to keep the department running efficiently.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping customers and takes pride in delivering an excellent service. You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service or Account Management position.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and over the telephone.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a natural ability to solve problems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a highly organised approach.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with confidence using Excel to produce reports and analyse data.
  • The ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines with ease.
  • The confidence to work independently while being a supportive team player.
