Forklift Drivers
Day shifts
Β£12.50 β Β£13.50 per hour (DOE)
Temp to Perm
Northfleet
A great opportunity has risen with our client based in North Kent who are currently seeking Forklift Drivers to join their busy warehouse team.
Duties to include:
- Working in a busy and targeted warehouse environment working in a variety of temperatures season dependent
- Operating forklifts
- Making sure the correct stock is provided for production and/or despatch
- Accurately record all stock used
- Any other duties required
The successful candidates will have:
- Previous experience driving fork lift trucks in a factory-based environment
- Valid Reach Truck or Counterbalance licence (in-house is not accepted)
- Ideally worked within Food Production
- The ability to speak, write and understand English to a good level
- A good understanding of Health & Safety
- The ability to start immediately on an ongoing basis
This role offers the following:
- An immediate start, initially employed by Pearson Whiffin Recruitment but with a view to being directly employed by our client on a permanent basis
- Opportunities to progress long term
- Stable weekly pay through PWR initially
- A competitive hourly rate
- Accrued holiday pay, with pension contributions after 12 weeks
