The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
A newly created role has arisen to join a changing and growing business as an Accountant based in North Kent. The company are a PE-Backed business having recently broken away from a larger group and looking to establish their own identity. As part of the changes, this role has been created to work closely with the Financial Controller for the UK finance function.
Duties include:
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- Support the monthly and year-end process
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with VAT returns and tax compliance
- Support financial analysis and reporting as required by the Finance Director
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and prepayments
- Support audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Work closely with the AP/AR teams
Suitable candidates will ideally be either qualified or part-qualified; however, individuals who are QBE with good relevant experience will be considered. Experience of working in a PE-Backed environment would be advantageous.
