Control Systems Engineer <£65-70k + private healthcare + pension + expenses + OT (OTE – £75-100k ++++) Mainly office based – Southeast London, with travel to sites across the SE. The Role: As a Control Systems Engineer, you will: Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge control systems tailored to client needs. Program PLCs and SCADA systems with precision and efficiency. Troubleshoot and optimise existing systems to ensure peak performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless project execution. Testing and commissioning of control systems within data centres or power generation systems. Keep up to date with emerging technologies to maintain the company’s industry-leading reputation. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in control systems design and implementation. Strong PLC programming skills (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar). Familiarity with SCADA systems and HMI configuration. A proactive, problem-solving approach with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical concepts effectively. Flexibility – this role will involve some ‘out of hours’ work (evenings and weekends) What’s In It For You?
