Commercial and Contracts Manager

Wednesbury or Ashby

£75,000 + bonus DOE

Monday Thursday 8.30 5.00pm and Friday 8.30 4.00pm

Hybrid role (Driving license required)

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded Contracts Manager with a background in Manufacturing to work for a large, yet growing company with multiple sites across the UK. The Commercial and Contracts Manager will be responsible for reviewing contracts and identifying any risks and liabilities.

This role will require travel and therefore only candidates with a full UK licence will be considered.

Duties are varied, but generally include:

  • Reviewing, negotiating, and finalising customer contract terms and conditions
  • Ensuring accurate contract execution ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
  • Managing and reviewing the drafting of contracts including NDAs and SLAS, service agreements and purchase orders
  • Resolving any commercial issues that may arise
  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Providing reports and presentations

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent in Business or similar
  • Pre contract experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or building services
  • Quantity Surveying background (Desirable)
  • Excellent IT skills
  • A strong commercial awareness
  • A full UK driving license and willing to travel UK wide
