Automation Engineer – vRA
We are looking for someone with solid vRA, who can refactor existing code backlog as well as Unit Testing & workflow documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement test strategies for vRA automation workflows, blueprints, and custom resources.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts for infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on vRA configurations.
- Identify and troubleshoot deployment issues across vCenter, vRA, and associated components.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams in Agile environments.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter.
- Proven experience with vRealize Automation (vRA) (version 8.x preferred).
- Familiarity with vRealize Orchestrator (vRO), NSX, and infrastructure automation tools.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks or scripting (e.g., PowerCLI, Python, or Ansible).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation workflows.
- Experience in testing infrastructure provisioning, lifecycle management, and policies.
