Warehouse Operative Mid Kent £27,195 + night allowance 4 on 4 off – Night Shifts

A rare and exclusive opportunity has arisen for driven and enthusiastic Warehouse looking for a varied long-term opportunity within a sought-after employer. This role is integral to the customer experience and therefore requires someone who genuinely takes pride in delivering exceptional service and can maintain high standards.

Duties are varied, but include:

  • Working in a busy Warehouse: quality checking; assembly; stock taking; picking and packing
  • Using machinery
  • Ensuring a top-level attention to detail when products are prepared for dispatched and packing in such a way to ensure safe transit to customer sites
  • Recording delivery activity; warehouse and stock administration; document management; using the company MRP system
  • Replacing films and replenishing the PH
  • Achieve OEE and waste targets
  • Set the machines
  • Using your initiative to ensure that there is little room for error and customers receive goods as expected
  • Any other reasonable duties, responsibility or requests that may be issued by Management from time to time
  • QA quality checks and CCPs

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • A fantastic attitude to work and the desire to maintain high standards personally and professionally
  • A positive personality with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Must have a counter balance or reach licence
  • The ability to use your own initiative with a good level of common sense
  • A full, clean driving licence
  • Health and safety awareness skills
  • Flexibility
  • A background in a warehouse environment
  • Technically minded and practical in approach
  • Certificate in basic food hygiene
