A newly created opportunity has arisen to join a growing international business as an Accounts Assistant, based in the Canterbury area. My client is an expanding organisation and is looking for a career-driven individual who is keen to develop their accounting experience and grow alongside the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Financial Controller with operational reports.
- Raising client invoices.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Assisting with month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting with accruals, prepayments and other month-end schedules.
- Gathering and validating financial data for management reporting across UK and international entities.
- Supporting Finance Managers with chasing outstanding customer payments when required.
- Assisting with the preparation of documentation for year-end and external audit.
- Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance team as required.
Suitable candidates will have previous experience gained within a similar accounting or finance role. You will be career-driven, keen to progress and looking for an opportunity where you can continue your professional development alongside the growth of the business.
