Job description:
Join the UK’s leading provider of bespoke and licensed food and alcohol gifting. With partnerships across iconic household names such as Baileys, Guinness, Jack Daniels, Paddington, and more, this family-run business has been creating innovative gifting solutions for over 28 years. Supplying millions of gifts each year to major retailers, high street stores, and eCommerce platforms, the team delivers a complete end-to-end service – from concept to delivery. Every role is key to driving quality, creativity, and long-term success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Duties
- Learning the end-to-end sales and account management process – from initial brief through to product delivery.
- Supporting and shadowing our Senior National Account Manager across a portfolio of key national retailers (e.g., Tesco, Asda, Amazon)
- Identify & understand customer goals & range requirements to reach personal sales & margin targets.
- Attending client meetings, preparing, and presenting presentations, taking notes, and preparing follow-up meetings.
- Manage timelines/critical paths within your area of responsibility to maximise opportunity and to meet customer requirement deadlines.
- Collaborating with our Product Development, Buying, and Licensing teams to bring new gifting ranges to life.
- Collate accurate costs to ensure professional service and a sustainable business.
- Conduct competitor research (we call this “comp shopping”) at relevant times of year to retain awareness of market trends.
- Promote us as the number one gifting agency in the UK through your appearance, decorum & business ethics.
Experience
- 1–3 years\’ experience in a commercial, sales, or FMCG-related role
- A natural relationship builder who is eager to learn and grow
- Strong organisational skills and diligence in detail.
- Strong commercial understanding and Microsoft Excel capabilities (Experience with the SAP software system is of benefit)
- Numerically & commercially minded.
- A collaborator with excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable with travel across the UK for client meetings (Driving license required)
- Experience in gifting, food & drink, and branded consumer goods is a bonus but not a necessity.
