We are looking for IT Support Engineers to provide high-quality technical support across school environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who understands the demands of supporting IT within education and is confident working across a Microsoft-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across school environments
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, interactive classroom technology and other peripherals
- Support Windows 10/11 devices and Microsoft-based infrastructure
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint
- Manage users, groups and permissions within Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Troubleshoot wired and wireless networking issues
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding staff and user account management
- Maintain IT documentation, asset records and support tickets
- Escalate more complex infrastructure and technical issues where appropriate
- Work professionally within safeguarding-focused school environments
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience supporting Active Directory / Entra ID
- Good understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi‑Fi
- Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- The ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non‑technical users
- A proactive, organised and methodical approach to problem solving

Due to the nature of the role and working within school environments, candidates must hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate.
