We are looking for an experienced Share Point Administrator to take ownership of Share Point Online across a Microsoft 365 tenant.
This is a hands-on role for a technical specialist who understands that effective Share Point administration is about more than keeping sites running.
You will own the structure, permissions, governance, security, lifecycle and ongoing development of a large Share Point Online estate, ensuring content is accessible to the right people, protected appropriately and managed throughout its lifecycle.
You will work across the central Share Point Hub, departmental and functional sites, restricted libraries, Teams-connected sites and approved non-standard environments.
The role also has significant exposure to Microsoft Purview, automation, reporting and migration.

You will have strong, demonstrable experience in
- Share Point Online tenant administration at scale, including hub architecture, structured site models, restricted content, Teams-connected sites and storage governance.
- The Share Point permission model, including inheritance, permission levels, sharing links, guest access and Microsoft 365/Entra ID integration.
- Microsoft Purview, particularly sensitivity labels, retention, DLP, auditing and content search across Share Point and One Drive.
- One Drive for Business administration, including Known Folder Move, sync policies and storage management.
- Advanced Power Shell, including Share Point Online Management Shell, Pn P Power Shell and Microsoft Graph Power Shell.
- Managed metadata, Term Store and content type administration.
- Share Point search configuration, tuning and troubleshooting.
- Diagnosing sharing, access, synchronisation, indexing and permissions issues.
- Share Point Online migration tooling and file-share migrations.
- Producing clear technical documentation and guidance for both technical teams and business owners.
It would be advantageous to have experience with
- Share Point Advanced Management, including Restricted Access Control, Data Access Governance reporting and Site Lifecycle Management.
- e Discovery Premium, Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance or Information Barriers.
- Entra ID access packages, entitlement management and access reviews.
- Share Point Framework, modern site pages and web part configuration.
- Microsoft Graph and reporting APIs for estate-wide analysis.
- Working with personal or customer data in a regulated environment.
- CLI for Microsoft 365 or comparable administration tooling.
Qualifications
Microsoft certifications are desirable, particularly MS-102 and certification pathways covering Teamwork Administration and Information Protection & Compliance.
There is no formal degree requirement.
We are primarily interested in practical expertise, technical capability and demonstrable experience managing Share Point Online in a complex environment.
