We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing, international business at an exciting stage of its development. The company is based in the Canterbury, Kent area; however, you will be required to travel to other sites in the UK on a monthly basis.

This is a broad, hands-on finance role offering considerably more than traditional month-end reporting. Working closely with the senior finance leadership team, you will take responsibility for key areas of day-to-day finance while supporting the wider business with reporting, cash management, controls and commercial financial information.

You will also have end-to-end finance responsibility for multiple entities within the group, making this a particularly attractive opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience and gain genuine exposure within a fast-paced international environment. The role could suit an experienced Finance Manager or an ambitious ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant, including someone looking to make their first move from practice into industry.

Duties include:

  • Preparing monthly management information, including P&L and balance sheet reporting
  • Maintaining robust month-end schedules and accurate financial records
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and monitoring overdue balances
  • Preparing and maintaining short-term cashflow forecasts
  • Supporting customer invoicing and expense management
  • Providing financial analysis and operational reporting to support business decision-making
  • Taking ownership of finance activities across multiple group entities
  • Preparing documentation and supporting the year-end and external audit process
  • Supporting tax, compliance, internal controls and finance policies
  • Maintaining high standards of financial data integrity
  • Helping to improve and document finance processes as the business continues to grow
  • Supporting finance systems projects, implementations and process improvements.

Suitable candidates will be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified. If you are currently working in practice and looking for your first move into industry, this could be a great opportunity for you!

In return, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package including private health and life insurance.
