Production Operative in Maidstone (outskirts, driver with own transport essential). Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 DOE. Monday to Friday 7.30am-4.30pm (40 hours pw) with flexibility to work from 6.30am in busy periods.

As a Production Operative you will:

  • Operate machinery and equipment efficiently to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Work at height, in confined spaces and in an industrial manufacturing environment where temperatures can vary.
  • Carry materials and products up to 20kg independently.
  • Monitor and maintain product quality standards.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets.

To be considered for this Production Operative role, you will have:

  • Relevant working experience in a similar environment.
  • A counterbalance forklift licence with experience (in-house or national considered).
  • A good level of physical fitness and strength (heavy lifting and stamina required).
  • A willingness to work at height and in confined spaces.
  • A track record of reliability and punctuality in a working environment.
  • Experience operating machinery.
  • A good level of common sense.
  • Basic maths skills.
  • A good attitude and willingness to muck in.
  • A desire to progress within a company.
