We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex network infrastructure projects within a fast-paced retail environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong project manager who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of network and infrastructure projects, from initiation through to handover.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting in line with PRINCE2 methodologies.
- Coordinate internal teams, third-party vendors, and network engineers to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Oversee deployment, upgrade, and migration of network solutions, primarily using Cisco technologies.
- Ensure projects align with ITIL service management practices and operational readiness.
- Communicate effectively with retail business stakeholders, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations.
- Maintain clear documentation, governance, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering network-focused projects in a technical project management role.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco products and network technologies.
- Solid understanding and practical application of PRINCE2 and ITIL frameworks.
- Experience working within the retail sector, ideally supporting multi-site or store-based environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Desirable Qualifications
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification (highly desirable).
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
- ITIL Foundation or higher.
