I am looking for a teacher of Geography for a job starting September 2025 (or sooner for the right candidate) in Dartford, Kent. This Geography teaching job will require you to teach at KS3 and KS4. Candidates who can teach to KS4 and have the ability and desire to teach at A-Level will be supported with training and mentoring. Unqualified candidates or graduates looking to gain QTS can be considered.

This teaching job is based in a secondary school near Gravesend and Maidstone, so would suit a candidate based in Central or North Kent. The school has easy access by road and ample parking for teachers.

The successful Geography (Humanities) teacher will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 Geography courses. The Humanities department at this school currently has 5 teachers and a specialist support TA for intervention work. The current curriculum and teaching standard in Geography are considered very good, and students are engaged and enthusiastic about their learning in the subject. You will teach a varied timetable allowing you ample opportunity to demonstrate a varied delivery technique rooted in the use of materials and technology and offering differentiation to manage mixed ability classes.
