Exciting opportunity! My client in North Kent is on the hunt for a driven Business Development professional to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Main duties include:

  • Proactively identify and win new customers and contracts, aligning with the company’s sales strategy.
  • Cultivate, maintain, and enhance strong relationships with existing clients to drive ongoing business.
  • Market and sell M&E maintenance services, including both mobile and static solutions.
  • Leverage CRM tools like Salesforce to efficiently track sales activities and manage customer data.
  • Attend networking events to expand business opportunities and build industry connections.

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Proficient in IT, with strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and databases.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated sales success within the M&E industry or a related sector.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (experience with Salesforce is a plus).
  • Skilled in independently or collaboratively producing bids, tenders, PQQs, and SQs.
  • Proven track record of securing new business opportunities.
  • Experience in contract retention and fostering long-term client relationships.
