About the role
As an Assessment Leader within our Enterprise Learning and Skills, Vocational Qualifications team, you will be joining the UK\’s largest awarding body. We offer academic and vocational qualifications that are globally recognised and benchmarked, with educational excellence rooted in names like Edexcel, BTEC, EDI and LCCI.
Key Accountabilities
People – Support in the training, mentoring and upskilling of the wider team for their specialist area – Will value the needs and rights of others – Will represent the team at meetings or other events
Customer Service – Will “Think customers first” to ensure a great customer experience – Ensure accurate and timely responses to customer queries – Use customer relationship management tools to identify opportunities to support customers further and improve the customer experience
Data Management – Monitor key performance indicators, including analysing reports, and taking relevant action where needed – Analyse assessment performance data with a view to making improvements and defending decisions in relation to pass marks or the setting of grade boundaries.
Quality Management – Be a technical specialist in one or more of the key content and assessment processes and maintain the relevant documentation relating to this. Responsible for accurate Content and Assessment management for their allocated assessments – Responding to key external or internal requirements, and with continued improvement and simplification in mind.
Relationship Management – Managing performance of contractors – Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure accurate content production and timely assessment results

- Have project management capabilities

- Be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the assessment cycle
- Hold a degree or other relevant qualification or experience

- This is a hybrid position aligned to our 80 Strand office, London.
- This is a FTC position with an end date of 31st December.
