About the Role

The Office Manager role is a key operational position within Pearson Carter, responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the business across HR, Finance, and Office Management functions. You will be the backbone of day-to-day operations, supporting leadership and enabling the wider team to perform at their best.

Responsibilities

  • Managing HR administration including employee records, absences, lateness tracking, and holiday management
  • Supporting KPI tracking across teams and assisting managers with performance reporting
  • Processing invoices and supporting accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
  • Assisting with financial reporting and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Acting as the main point of contact for office operations and supplier management
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
  • Maintaining internal systems, documentation, and operational processes
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and company standards
  • Supporting leadership team with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks
  • Helping maintain company culture and operational efficiency across all departments

Required Skills

  • Previous experience in an office management or administrative leadership role is preferred
  • Proficiency in using Office 365, HR Systems and QuickBooks
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
