Pearson Carter are currently working with a growing start-up company who provide a platform to allow small local shops and grocery stores to serve customers online.
Responsibilities:
- Extending API’s for the App Development team
- Developing new features and API’s in Laravel
- Working on unit tests as well as wider performance optimisation
- Maintenance of legacy code base (bespoke PHP)
- Integrating platform with third parties (e.g. EPOS and payment gateways)
- Performing code reviews and supporting less experienced devs
- Supporting with the planning of more complex projects
Experience:
- Extensive experience developing with PHP and Laravel
- Experienced working as a Senior Developer
- Previous experience working for a start-up company
- Strong working knowledge of AWS
- Frontend development knowledge and experience of JavaScript and React will be hugely beneficial
Salary: They offer an excellent salary package: up to £70,000 depending on experience multiple potential bonuses, including potential shares in company!
Location: The client is based in the UK and this is a FULLY REMOTE role from within the UK.
