Senior . NET Developer
Pearson Carter are working with an innovative software organisation who are looking for an experienced Senior .
NET Developer to join their ROAM Technical Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior software engineer who enjoys taking ownership of complex development projects, mentoring developers and delivering high-quality software solutions within a collaborative technical environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as a senior hands-on developer, delivering high-quality C#/. NET solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, test, deploy and support production-grade applications, APIs and integrations.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring and promoting engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements, design practical solutions and deliver successful projects.
- Improve software quality through maintainable architecture, secure coding, automated testing and documentation.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, implement long-term solutions and contribute to planning, estimation and team development.
Experience
- 5 years' commercial software development experience with strong C# and . NET/. NET Core expertise.
- Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade applications, APIs and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, service-oriented architecture, SQL databases, secure coding and software design.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and Dev Ops practices.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and mentor developers to improve engineering standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and analytical skills, with the ability to balance delivery, quality and business priorities.
- Experience with XAML/Visual Studio, a relevant degree (or equivalent experience), and technical leadership experience are advantageous.

They offer a competitive salary, dependent on experience and up to £75k.
Location
The client is based on-site in Stansted where you are expected to work from 5 days a week.
