An exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Director to lead the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365-based SaaS solutions within a growing technology business. You’ll oversee a team of consultants and project managers, ensuring every implementation is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a strategic leadership role for a hands-on professional who can balance governance with flexibility, drive operational excellence, and inspire a high-performing team. Ideal for someone with a proven background in ERP or SaaS project delivery and experience managing remote delivery teams in a Microsoft ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Professional Services team — including Lead Consultants, Application Consultants, and Project Managers — to deliver Microsoft Dynamics-based SaaS solutions on time, on budget, and to scope.
  • Take overall responsibility for ERP implementation projects for both new and existing customers.
  • Drive delivery excellence and embed continuous improvement across all projects.
  • Manage the function’s chargeability, recovery, and profitability targets.
  • Implement best practice project management, planning, and reporting within a SaaS delivery model.
  • Oversee the implementation and adoption of Microsoft Project Operations to enhance delivery performance.
  • Report directly to the senior management team and present operational updates at board level.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, ensuring the team’s certifications and expertise remain up to date.
  • Coach, mentor, and empower delivery teams to achieve high performance.
  • Balance strong governance with agile flexibility to meet evolving customer needs.

Experience:

  • 5–10 years’ experience leading a Professional Services or Implementation function in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong background in Microsoft-based software delivery or ERP/CRM implementations (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Project Management accreditation (PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum).
  • Proven track record of delivering ERP/SaaS projects to time and budget within remote or hybrid teams.
  • Expertise in software implementation best practice within a Microsoft framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and optimize delivery efficiency.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, communication, and influencing at all organizational levels.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, proactive leadership style.
  • Evidence of success within fast-paced, scaling, or private equity-backed businesses.

Salary: Up to £90,000, depending on experience.

Location: Flexible remote working within the UK, with occasional travel for meetings, training, and company events.
