THE ROLE We are hiring a Network & Security Engineer to join a customer-dedicated delivery team in Nuneaton. This is a customer-facing role combining project delivery and BAU support within a fast-paced technical environment.

  • Deliver project and BAU support activities onsite for a key enterprise customer
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents while managing priorities within agreed SLAs
  • Configure, install, commission, and support network infrastructure equipment
  • Liaise directly with stakeholders and provide regular technical updates throughout delivery
  • Support wireless deployments, troubleshooting, and infrastructure upgrades
  • Manage and mentor a junior engineer within the team
  • Participate in occasional out-of-hours and weekend support for critical P1 incidents when required

THE CANDIDATE

  • 3 years of experience within Network Engineering or Network Security roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Juniper networking technologies
  • Experience configuring and supporting Aruba wireless environments
  • Comfortable with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and fault finding
  • Previous mentoring or leadership experience would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Able to prioritise incidents and project work within a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant certifications such as JNCIA, ACNT, or a related degree are highly desirable
