About the Role
The Office Manager role is a key operational position within Pearson Carter, responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the business across HR, Finance, and Office Management functions. You will be the backbone of day-to-day operations, supporting leadership and enabling the wider team to perform at their best.
Responsibilities
- Managing HR administration including employee records, absences, lateness tracking, and holiday management
- Supporting KPI tracking across teams and assisting managers with performance reporting
- Processing invoices and supporting accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
- Assisting with financial reporting and maintaining accurate financial records
- Acting as the main point of contact for office operations and supplier management
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
- Maintaining internal systems, documentation, and operational processes
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and company standards
- Supporting leadership team with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks
- Helping maintain company culture and operational efficiency across all departments
Required Skills
- Previous experience in an office management or administrative leadership role is preferred
- Proficiency in using Office 365, HR Systems and QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
