Pearson Carter are currently looking for a system accountant with strong Business Central and finance processes. The successful candidate will play an integral role in configuring and developing Human Appeals global financial system (currently Business Central) and performing business process analysis and user engagement to ensure that Human Appeals financial systems evolve in line with operational needs, global strategy and regional compliance requirements.

THE ROLE

  • Location: 5 days a week in the office (are open to hybrid, but ideally in the office).
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance Team.
  • Support Business Central implementation and configuration.
  • Design workflows and provide technical solutions.
  • Responsibilities include planning, training, managing testing, and ongoing support.
  • Will work on Salesforce–BC integration.
  • Provide hands-on project support from requirement gathering to post-live.
  • Aim is to translate business needs into system solutions.

THE CANDIDATE

  • 3 years hands-on Business Central (especially Finance modules).
  • Strong knowledge of finance processes & internal controls.
  • Translate finance needs into system solutions.
  • Independently manage cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with upgrades, support, and changes.
  • Experience in NGO/Charity sector.
  • Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
  • Power Platform familiarity.
  • Agile delivery experience.
  • No dependents, sponsorships.

Salary: £41,650 – £56,000; Absolute maximum for exceptional candidates: £59,800.

Location: 5 days a week in the office Manchester (are open to hybrid, but ideally in the office).
