This is an exciting opportunity to join early, make a real impact, and help shape how the animation function grows as the studio scales.
The Role
We’re looking for a Spine Animator to join our close-knit art team and help bring our games to life. This is a pure animation role, ideal for someone who loves hands-on animation work and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll be working day-to-day with other artists, animating pre-made assets and adapting to established styles and workflows. The pace is quick, priorities can change, and every day brings something new — perfect for someone who enjoys variety and ownership. The role is currently fully remote within the UK, with plans to move to a hybrid setup in Manchester as the team continues to expand.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating high-quality Spine 2D animations for slot game symbols, characters, and backgrounds
- Animating pre-built artwork while staying true to the studio’s visual style
- Using bones, mesh deformation, and advanced rigging techniques
- Collaborating closely with a small team of artists and contributing ideas
- Working in a fast-moving production environment with changing priorities
- Ensuring animations are optimised for real-time game performance
