We are seeking an experienced BC Developer to lead and manage a development team while remaining hands-on with delivery. This role combines technical expertise, people management, and project leadership to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality D365 Business Central solutions aligned with business and client objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Central developers, driving performance, utilisation, and professional development
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across D365 Business Central development, architecture, and best practices
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and business goals are met
- Manage development resources, identifying risks, constraints, and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and clients to gather requirements and ensure alignment
- Ensure strong documentation, knowledge sharing, and adherence to development standards
- Manage development budgets and support cost-effective delivery
Experience
- Proven experience leading technical teams and managing development projects
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (development, customisation, integrations)
- In-depth knowledge of AL language and Business Central best practices
- Experience with API integrations, web services, and data migration
- Familiarity with Azure services, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong project management, prioritisation, and delivery skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration abilities
Salary: £90,000 per annum
Location: Flexible remote working within the UK.
