Pearson Carter are currently working alongside a premium niche sporting goods manufacturer, known for their reputation amongst professionals, innovation and global distribution network. They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager or a fully qualified accountant hoping to step into a Finance Manager position. A salary up to Β£50,000 is available.
Responsibilities
- Month-End Support: Purchase Ledger (AP), Sales Ledger (AR), Banking, VAT & Compliance.
- Customer & Vendor Comms: Provide professional, timely responses to AR/AP queries.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and help implement small process improvements to improve speed, accuracy, control & visibility. Modernise standard operating procedures to make better use of the ERP system.
Experience
- AAT / ACA / ACCA qualified or actively studying (study support available).
- Experience in a similar finance administration / AP/AR role, ideally in a product/manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central is desirable but not essential; confident user of an ERP and Excel (lookups, pivots, basic formulae).
Location
The role is based in Hoddesdon and is fully on-site.
