Company Pearson Carter are working with a leading international technology infrastructure services business to recruit an experienced Finance Manager/Group Accountant based in Buntingford. Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing organisation that delivers specialist design, build, and managed services solutions to enterprise clients across the globe. With over 27 legal entities spanning Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America — and active expansion into new markets — this is a genuinely exciting time to join the business.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, accounts packages and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, statutory requirements, and internal controls, including preparing VAT returns and reviewing CT returns.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and intercompany transactions.
- Issue quarterly Transfer Pricing invoices in accordance with group policy.
- Implement and maintain financial systems and process improvements.
- Support the preparation of the Group Project Report, including posting accruals and conducting data quality checks.
Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a multi-entity or international environment.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Salary
Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience. Private medical insurance.
Location
This role is based 5 days per week in Buntingford.
