Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain solutions as required by the business
  • Sizing and estimating of work
  • Coach developers to improve their skills and understanding of the Business Central system
  • Provide technical support for the Business Central system as part of the wider team
  • Maintain and develop integration with 3rd party and other internal systems
  • Identify and suggest opportunities to improve systems and underlying data through continuous improvement
  • Take responsibility for Information Security in compliance with ISO27001

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Microsoft Business Central developer
  • Experience at coaching technical teams
  • Experience in working with and managing stakeholders in a finance team
  • Proven experience in AL language and the BC development environment (Visual Studio Code, Git, Docker)
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes (GL, AP/AR, banking, inventory, fixed assets, etc.)
  • Familiarity with standard software development practices and tools (e.g. CI/CD, Agile, DevOps)
  • Knowledge of other languages (e.g. .NET, SQL) desirable but not essential
