I\’m currently working with a charity based in the UK who are looking to move away from their own servers and get their Data in the cloud. They\’re in the early stages of a cloud transformation program, aiming to transition all legacy systems either to Azure or to SaaS platforms provided by vendors.
Experience:
- Synapse
- A good understanding of Data governance and integration strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Design a roadmap for cloud migration and platform modernisation
- Advise on best practice for security, performance, and cost efficiency
- Help re-platform our data warehouse and analytics solutions for the cloud
- Ensure a futureproof, scalable foundation for data services across the charity
They’re offering a salary up to £80,000. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract but they have confirmed there is a strong chance of being extended beyond this or even going permanent.
Location:
Fully remote with occasional travel to London or Northampton for meetings (less than once every other month). They have a rail/hotel/taxi booking account and pay mileage at Gov rates
