My client is a public sector organisation who work in the Healthcare industry. They ensure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and assure scalable, secure, and resilient application and integration solutions, covering bespoke applications, SaaS platforms, and third-party services.
  • Define and promote integration patterns and approaches (e.g. APIs, event-driven integration, messaging, batch, data synchronisation).
  • Develop and assure roadmaps for application modernisation, integration platform adoption, and decommissioning of legacy systems.

Experience:

  • Significant experience designing and delivering application and integration solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of modern application architectures, including cloud-native, microservices, and modular monolith approaches.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing integration solutions using APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures, and integration platforms.
  • Experience working with SaaS products and integrating them with existing enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of information security, identity, and access management.
  • Experience with integration platforms and tooling (e.g. AIS, Mulesoft, API management, iPaaS, message brokers).

Other beneficial knowledge would be:

  • Experience working in regulated or public sector environments.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF or other architectural frameworks.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and user centred design principles as they apply to applications.

Salary + Benefits:

  • They offer a salary package up to £75,000, with an excellent benefits package that includes:
  • RRA Bonus scheme - 10% of your salary, annually.
  • NHS Pension Employee 14% plus the employees contribution on top £553.

This client has an office in London and Newcastle, however they’re offering remote working with the expectation of travelling to either office once every 1-3 months.
