Lead Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Consultant - Fully Remote - Up to £75,000
A growing Microsoft Partner is looking for a Lead Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Consultant to join their team. This is a fully remote role offering the opportunity to lead finance-focused Business Central implementations, working with stakeholders, consultants, developers, and architects to deliver complex ERP and integration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Finance workstreams across Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations
- Run workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into solution designs
- Configure and implement Business Central Finance modules, including General Ledger, Purchasing, Sales, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, VAT, and Financial Reporting
- Design and deliver integrations between Business Central and external systems
- Produce functional specifications, process flows, data mappings, and test documentation
- Lead data migration, reconciliation, testing, and go-live activities
- Work closely with developers and solution architects on integrations and technical solutions
- Facilitate UAT, training sessions, customer demonstrations, and post-go-live support
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to delivery best practices
Required Experience:
- 5 years' experience with Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong Finance consultancy experience across core BC financial modules
- Proven experience leading end-to-end Business Central implementations
- Experience delivering integrations using REST APIs, OData, Web Services, and JSON
- Strong understanding of data migration, reconciliation, and ERP testing processes
- Experience creating functional specifications, process documentation, and solution designs
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Desirable Experience:
- Power Platform experience including Power Automate, Power Apps, or Dataverse
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps or Azure integration technologies
- Experience integrating Business Central with CRM, Banking, Payroll, E-commerce, or Reporting platforms
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications
- Finance or Accountancy background (AAT or equivalent beneficial)
