Examiner - GCE A Level - CHEMISTRY (2016 Specification) — Pearson A GCE Chemistry (2016 Specification) Examiner will mark candidates’ responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures. Most subjects will be marked onscreen using ePEN from home; some subjects are still marked using traditional paper scripts sent by post. A high level of subject knowledge is required to apply the mark scheme. Each examiner will receive an agreed allocation of scripts.
Responsibilities
- Mark accurately and consistently to maintain overall standards
- Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
- Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
- Complete all required administration as specified
Experience / Qualifications
- One academic year's teaching experience within the last 8 years in the relevant qualification and subject
- Degree or equivalent
- Qualified teacher
