Pearse Professionals are excited to be working with a major financial institution with a strong international presence, on their search for a Management Accountant to join one of their pivotal departments. Offering a range of financial services, including M&A finance, real estate finance, project finance as well as real estate and asset management, they play a significant role across the European and Asian banking sector.
The role:
- Responsibility for managing the expense budgeting process for London, as well as presenting this to the Head of Department
- Responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate month-end reporting and management accounting
- Support the Head of Department with expense control and reduction initiatives
- Support a junior team with the payment of invoices and review of this process
- Monitoring and reviewing actual expenditure of expenses vs budget
- Providing insights to support long-term strategic decision making
- Identifying performance gaps and areas for potential improvement
- Continuous process improvement and automation to enable the businesses to scale
