Pearse Professionals are excited to be working with a major financial institution with a strong international presence, on their search for a Management Accountant to join one of their pivotal departments. Offering a range of financial services, including M&A finance, real estate finance, project finance as well as real estate and asset management, they play a significant role across the European and Asian banking sector.

The role:

  • Responsibility for managing the expense budgeting process for London, as well as presenting this to the Head of Department
  • Responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate month-end reporting and management accounting
  • Support the Head of Department with expense control and reduction initiatives
  • Support a junior team with the payment of invoices and review of this process
  • Monitoring and reviewing actual expenditure of expenses vs budget
  • Providing insights to support long-term strategic decision making
  • Identifying performance gaps and areas for potential improvement
  • Continuous process improvement and automation to enable the businesses to scale

Requirements:

  • Willingness to roll your sleeves up and be hands-on across the team
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to work well with as well as challenge senior stakeholders
  • Previous experience in Financial Services preferred
