Pearse Professionals are supporting a PE-backed business in looking for an experienced M&A Associate Director to join on a fixed term basis and support the execution of acquisitions across the group. This is a hands-on role sitting at the heart of the deal team, managing transactions from offer stage through to completion while coaching and developing junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of financial due diligence, including coaching junior team members and reviewing analysis, forecasts and FDD reports.
- Manage deal timelines, liaising with internal teams and vendors to ensure milestones are met.
- Support delivery of valuations, offer letters and heads of terms across live transactions.
- Act as a key point of contact for vendors during due diligence, managing expectations and keeping them informed.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to junior team members to support their technical development.
Ideal Candidate
- Significant experience leading or reviewing financial due diligence as part of M&A transactions.
- Ideally background in or exposure to Financial or professional Services businesses.
- Strong coaching and mentoring capability with experience reviewing and developing junior team members.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a remote environment.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience reviewing complex financial models and spreadsheets.
