Pearse Professionals are working with a high-growth VC backed FinTech business in seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join their Finance team. You will report into senior finance leadership, and your remit will span financial planning & analysis, forecasting, scenario modelling, management reporting, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the company's budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and scenario analyses
- Perform variance analysis, profitability assessments, trend analysis and present actionable insights
- Collaborate with department heads to collect assumptions and integrate business drivers
- Support strategic projects, product launches, pricing strategies, and potential M&A work
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports and board materials
- Oversee / mentor junior FP&A staff and promote process improvements
- Ensure alignment of financial processes with accounting, reporting, and controls functions
The Ideal Candidate
- Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CFA) or equivalent
- Solid experience in FP&A, ideally within technology, fintech, insurtech or high-growth businesses
- Strong modelling, forecasting and scenario planning skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with BI / planning tools or ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and juggle multiple priorities
- Leadership experience and ability to mentor more junior team members
