Pearse Professionals are supporting a leading UK media and entertainment business in looking for a commercially minded Interim Commercial Procurement Analyst to support the delivery of strategic sourcing, supplier management and value-optimisation activity across the organisation. This is a hands-on, broad role for someone who can both run sourcing projects end-to-end and do the analytical heavy lifting beneath them, cost modelling, spend analysis and savings tracking. You'll work across multiple procurement workstreams at once, partnering with stakeholders in Finance, Operations and Commercial.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing sourcing projects from initiation through to implementation, including RFI, RFQ and RFP processes
- Building cost models and commercial analyses to support procurement decisions
- Conducting spend analysis, market research and supplier landscape reviews
- Supporting supplier negotiations, evaluations and onboarding
- Preparing recommendation papers and business cases for stakeholder review
- Tracking savings, benefits realisation and procurement performance
- Producing reports, dashboards and presentations, and maintaining sourcing trackers
- Supporting contract governance, compliance and tail-spend control
What we're looking for:
- Solid experience in procurement and/or commercial analysis within a sizeable organisation
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of RFx processes and supplier evaluation
- Experience with procurement systems / ERP platforms
- Confident stakeholder management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to hit the ground running
